Welcome to the Bath Parks & Recreation Department. Our department oversees the following divisions;

• Division of Recreation
• Division of Cemeteries and Parks
• Division of Forestry
• Bath Youth Meetinghouse & Skate park.

The Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for the following:

• Administer the comprehensive municipal recreation program in accordance to budget and policy, rules, regulations, fees and charges.
• Supervise the use and schedule of City recreational facilities, cemeteries and parks.
• Operate, maintain, repair and improvements all City recreational facilities, cemeteries and parks, including the Bath Youth Meetinghouse & Skatepark and boat launches.
• Administer burials in City cemeteries.
• Provide forestry and arborist services for concerning all trees and tree growth located on public ways or City property or encroaching upon public ways.
