The Bath Landfill provides a safe, environmentally sound, affordable, and convenient place for disposal of solid waste to the residents and businesses of Bath and several nearby communities.
Please be aware that Bath City Ordinance prohibits the drop-off of household refuse by residential customers at the landfill. The curbside collection service should be utilized.
The City of Bath Parks Division is responsible for all the City parks, North and South End Boat Launches and several monument parks and islands. The use by any organization or individual of any City Park must be reviewed by the Director through the process of an application and agreement form. This procedure came about primarily to prevent conflicts in park usage and to facilitate maintenance.

Goddards Pond, Bath's outdoor skating rink, is maintained by the Parks and Recreation Department. Check out their Facebook Page for updates on ice conditions.

Waterfront Park Dock
The City of Bath maintains a public waterfront dock capable of handling multiple vessels at one time. Use limitations at the Waterfront Park public dock include:
The City of Bath has two launch facilities for boater’s convenience. One is located in the North End at the end of Town Landing Road. The other is located in the South End on Washington Street approximately ½ mile south of the Maine Maritime Museum. The Police Department routinely patrols these facilities and users are advised to familiarize themselves with rules and regulations which are clearly posted at each site.
