Public Hearing Notice - Bond Ordinance

A Bond Ordinance authorizing up to $1,227,150 of the City’s General Obligation Bonds was given first passage by the Bath City Council on May 20, 2020.  The following is a summary of the Bond Ordinance:  

To authorized issuance of up to $1,227,150 of the City’s bonds to finance miscellaneous municipal improvements and the purchase of various City vehicles and equipment.

The City Council will hold a public hearing on the proposed Ordinance as follows:

Wednesday, June 3, 2020 
6:00 PM
Remote Meeting 
(1 MRSA § 403-A permits public proceedings through remote access during the declaration of state of emergency due to COVID-19)

The public may not attend the public hearing but may participate as follows:

  • Provide written comments in advance to Darci Wheeler, City Clerk, at dwheeler@cityofbath.com or City Clerk’s Office, City of Bath, 55 Front St., Bath, ME by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2020.
  • Access to the meeting, online or by phone, will be available on Tuesday, June 2, 2020, from this page. If you need phone information and are unable to access the City’s website, call (207) 443-8332.
