The City of Bath has hired a contractor (Granite Inliner, LLC) to perform sanitary sewer "cured-in-place" rehabilitation of the pipe system serving residences in the vicinity of Dike-Newell Elementary School, including all or parts of Windjammer Way, Brown St., Gerald St., High St., Fitts St., and Bailey St. A liner will be inserted into existing sewer pipe through manholes near these locations. The liner will then be "cured-in-place" to form a pipe within a pipe. This process may cause an odor and/or interruption of the sewer services at these residences for up to eight (8) hours.
Work on this project is set to begin within a few weeks' time. Residents will be notified by the contractor before work begins. We ask for your patience and understanding as we make these necessary improvements to Bath's infrastructure.
