Join us at the Bath Parks and Recreation Department as a Summer Camp Counselor for kids grades 1-6. Bring your creativity, positive energy, and a spirit for making memories that last a lifetime.
🏕️ Position Overview: As a Summer Camp Counselor, you are the heartbeat of our camp, responsible for creating an environment where laughter is the soundtrack and friendships are forged. Your days will be filled with exciting activities, team-building adventures, and the opportunity to inspire and mentor young campers. Get ready to be a hero in the great story of summer!
🌈 Key Responsibilities:
- Campfire Companion: Engage campers in a variety of activities, from arts and crafts to outdoor games, ensuring each day is filled with joy and excitement.
- Friendship Forger: Foster a sense of community and inclusion, creating an environment where every camper feels valued and appreciated.
- Safety Superhero: Keep a watchful eye on campers, ensuring their well-being, and follow safety protocols to create a secure and nurturing space.
- Role Model Extraordinaire: Lead by example, demonstrating kindness, respect, and a positive attitude that inspires campers to do the same.
🚀 Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years old, per state regulations.
- Enthusiasm for working with children and creating a positive camp experience.
- Ability to collaborate and thrive in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to participate in camp activities with boundless energy.
- CPR and First Aid certification
