The City of Bath will soon be starting a project to construct new sidewalks on Oak Grove Avenue, Judkins Avenue, and Old Brunswick Road. In addition to the sidewalk construction, the work will include drainage improvements and landscaping.

Pratt and Sons, Inc. has been selected to be the general contractor and Gorrill Palmer Engineers will be on site during the construction to monitor the contractor’s activities and to act as a liaison for you to ask questions and communicate concerns during the work.  

This work will begin on or about April 1, 2021 and last approximately three months.  You should expect to see workers in the area.  They will be clearing the path for the sidewalks, excavating for pipes in the road, placing concrete for the curb, and asphalt for the sidewalks.  Some of this work will temporarily interrupt travel along these roads.  If your property will be affected, the contractor and/or engineer will come to your home and/or leave a notice with more information.  Please also be prepared for occasional dust and noise in the project area.
