Community & Economic Development

The Community & Economic Development Office is responsible for research, application and administration of a majority of the City's grants and serves under the City Manager.

The Community & Economic Development Office is responsible for the following:

  • Improve the City through community involvement and investments in affordable housing, neighborhood renewal, public infrastructure and facilities, and downtown revitalization. 
  • Assist with securing economic development opportunities through the management of City owned and managed properties.
  • Manage nearly $1 million in Brownfields Revolving Loan Funds that have been awarded to the City by the United States Environmental Protection Agency for the assessment and clean up of  Brownfields sites.
