Commercial St Sidewalk Project Bid

The City of Bath is issuing a request for bids. Sealed Bids addressed to the City of Bath, Lee Leiner, Director of Public Works, City Hall, 55 Front Street, Bath, Maine 04530 and endorsed on the envelope “Bids for Commercial Street East Sidewalk in the City of Bath” will be received from contractors at Bath City Hall at 2 o’clock (prevailing time) on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 and at that time and place publicly opened and read. Bids will be accepted from all bidders.

The lowest responsive bidder must have completed, or successfully complete, a Highway Construction prequalification to be considered for the award of this contract.

Description: Federal Aid Project No. AC-STP-1939(000)X MDOT PIN 019390.00

Location: Bath, Maine, Sagadahoc County.

Outline of Work: The work will consist of construction of approximately 530 linear feet of new sidewalk with granite curb, ADA compliant pedestrian access ramps, drainage adjustments including 126 linear feet of storm drainpipe and two new catch basins, approximately 170 linear feet of retaining wall, pedestrian amenities and other incidental work.

The basis of award will be the lowest base bid by qualified bidder.
