Fire & Rescue

The Fire Chief is the head of the Fire & Rescue Department and the Fire & Rescue Department is responsible for the prevention of fires, the protection of lives and property against fires and other hazards and provide emergency medical service.

The Fire Department is responsible for the following:

• Respond to fire, rescue and other emergency service calls.
• Provide emergency medical and transport service.
• Prepare and execute emergency management plan.
• Issue burn permits.
