COVID-19 update

Governor Mills has extended the application deadlines for the following programs: Homestead Exemption, Veteran's Exemption, Solar and Wind Energy Exemption, and the Business Equipment Tax Exemption (BETE) program. Applications will be accepted in Bath until our commitment (generally, the end of August), or until 30 days after the State's declaration of emergency has ended, whichever is earliest.


In an effort to promote social distancing and reduce the risk of transmission of the COVID-19 virus, we have made fillable PDF versions of several forms:

Maine Homestead Property Tax Exemption - Due date 2020 TBD

Maine Veteran Property Tax Exemption - NOTE: Additional materials are required. Leave SSN/Service ID blank if submitting by email. Staff will contact you for follow-up.

RENEWABLE ENERGY

Application for Renewable Energy Equipment Exemption - Detailed information from equipment installer is required. Due date 2020 TBD.
