Chief of Police

Hello, my name is Michael W. Field. I have served as the Chief of Police since 2006. I have been with the Bath Police Department since 1988. I am very proud to be in this position for such a fine Police Department.

As a result of good employees and teamwork, our Department works very efficiently and effectively in dealing with crime and serving the citizens of the City of Bath. As a Department, we embrace the philosophy of Community Policing concepts. We are good problem solvers and partners in the Community that we serve. As you browse through our website, you will see some of the programs and efforts of our Community Policing Initiative.

Feel free to contact me with any suggestions, comments or concerns you may have with our website or services. I can be reached at mfield@cityofbath.com
