BCTV streaming, video on demand live

BATH –  With recent studio upgrades, Bath Community Television (BCTV Channel 14) now offers Live Streaming and Video on Demand 24 hours a day at www.cityofbath.com/bctvondemand.

The service will allow online live access to regularly scheduled programming on BCTV and on demand access to content, such as public meetings, sporting events and theater productions.

BCTV is a resource provided by the franchise agreement between the City of Bath and Comcast. BCTV originates from Donald Small School on Sheridan Drive in Bath Channel time is shared equally with the three features of PEG: Public, Education and Government. The studio upgrades were funded by the PEG Facilities and Equipment Support and Technology Grant as part of the Cable Franchise Agreement.

Local production is a cooperative effort of the City of Bath, community residents, businesses, schools and organizations in Bath. BCTV provides facilities, resources, expertise and training so that programming of local interest and importance can be produced by community members and groups.
