She playfully interrogates a cast of characters who each relate their version of the family mythology. Polley reveals the essence of family as she discovers the secrets buried deep within. “Stories We Tell” was an official selection at the Sundance, Venice, Toronto and Telluride film festivals and won numerous awards in 2013.

The complete winter film series schedule is available at www.patten.lib.me.us and at the library. Admission is free and open to the public; refreshments are provided.
