During the months of September and October, the 13th Annual Community Forest Photography contest took place.This year’s contest hosted a generous number of entrants and entries, with the good proportion of entrants from surrounding communities.Sixteen adult entrants and three student entrants submitted forty-three photos to be judged!
The three top winners in the Adult category were: First Prize, Mr. Chris Sprague, with “Hangin’ in There”; for Second Prize, Ms. Eleanor McKinnon, with “Apple Blossom Time”; and Third Prize, Mr. Dick Butterer, with “Morning of the 4th of July”.
The three top winners in the Student category were: First Prize winner Mr. David Brann with "Into the Light"; for Second Prize, Mr. Christopher Walfield with “Skyward”; and Ms. Tabitha Barnard with “Signs of Fall”.
Hearty congratulations to all our winners and their wonderful efforts, which will be on display until the New Year in the Children’s Room at the Patten Free Library, and also to the rest of this year’s adult entrants: Michelle Campbell; Matt Barnard; Lisa Howe; Tenlee Delano; Erma Berry; Virginia Campbell; Anne Krebsbach; Alicia Heyburn; George Dole; Denise Larson; Susan Seaman; and Jean Tegethoff and this year’s student entrants: David Brann; Tabitha Barnard; and Christopher Walfield.
