Long-Term Plan or Mission Statement
Our long-range plan and Mission Statement is to encourage community recognition of the Community Forest as an essential part of the infrastructure of the City of Bath. We, therefore, seek:
  1. to identify the trees and other plants that are part of our urban forest through regular inventories;

  2. to provide for the continued health and care of the plants in our community forest a through regular maintenance plan;

  3. to expand the species and age diversity of our community forest through an annual tree replacement program;

  4. to recycle the products realized from the community forest;

  5. to educate the residents of Bath on the value of our community forest through a variety of informational programs and activities;

  6. to subsidize the City's Forestry budget with fundraising activities;

  7. to promote the implementation of a citywide tree ordinance to preserve, conserve, and protect our community's living resource: our Community Forest.
