As a service to the public, we have created an e-mail address for the Bath Planning Board.  planningboard@cityofbath.com.  If at any time you wish to comment on a project, on a zoning matter, or for any other reason, you can use this address.  These messages will be printed by staff in the Planning Office and delivered to all the Board members.

What we do:
The Planning Office, located on the third floor of historic City Hall, coordinates the planning functions for the City. We serve as staff to the Planning Board, help home owners and developers navigate their way through the Planning Board-review process, plan and carry out community development projects, and we help the community achieve its future goals.

Development Review:
The Planning Board meets on the first Tuesday of each month and as neccessary on the third Tuesday. Review and approval of development projects usually can be accomplished in only one meeting of the Board. Complete plans of projects need to be in the Planning Office three weeks before the meeting to allow for proper staff review. Applicants should meet with the Planning Director early in the plan-development stage to facilitate streamlined permitting.
