The Codes Enforcement Officer is responsible for the administration of various City codes, primarily dealing with building and land development. He handles all zoning issues and is the public's liaison to the Zoning Board. Some projects require Zoning Board approval prior to the issuance of construction permits. The Codes Officer is the contact person for these approvals.

He also serves as the City Health Officer. Restaurant and mobile food vending unit inspections are conducted by the Codes Officer. Apply for licenses with the City Clerk (443-8332).  He handles complaints dealing with public health issues.
