The City of Bath has contracted with Terrence J. DeWan & Associates, a Yarmouth-based landscape architecture firm, to create a design concept for the intersection of Elm Street and Front Street as well as Front Street (between Summer and Elm Streets) to achieve several goals, including:

• Creating a destination area.
• Improving conditions for pedestrians and bicyclists
• Improving motor vehicle traffic flow.
• Maintaining current public parking conditions.
